The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant in Occupational Health Services provides comprehensive occupational medicine services to Mayo Clinic employees while leading key population health initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This highly specialized role requires clinical expertise in occupational medicine, employee health, infectious disease, workforce safety, and applicable regulatory standards.

Primary responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical assessments; ordering, interpreting, and managing diagnostic testing; recognizing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions; providing health promotion and disease prevention counseling; and conducting occupational evaluations for work-related injuries, illnesses, return-to-work, and fitness-for-duty determinations.

The NP/PA is responsible for delivering a broad range of occupational health services while overseeing the management of employees through 20 occupational health surveillance programs.
