The role is designed for a Generalist who will have the opportunity to work in a newly completed, state-of-the-art birthing center. This center is part of the hospital's latest expansion and features seven labor and delivery rooms, each equipped with advanced patient monitoring technology and a birthing tub for hydrotherapy. Additionally, there are twelve postpartum rooms designed for comfort and care. The labor and delivery services are supported by a dedicated team of physicians and certified nurse midwives, who provide primary care for low-risk patients. They collaborate closely with a skilled and passionate nursing team.

The Mankato campus offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment, with a dedicated team of five nurse midwives who are integral to primary obstetric care. The call schedule is manageable, ensuring a good work-life balance for practitioners. The surgical department is particularly noteworthy, offering access to state-of-the-art Da Vinci X robotic systems for a range of procedures, highlighting the center's commitment to minimally invasive techniques. This is further evidenced by the expertise of providers with focused practice designation in Minimally Invasive Surgery, specializing in the treatment of conditions like endometriosis and fibroids. Additionally, the presence of a board-certified urogynecologist enhances the practice's comprehensive care.
