Position Highlights:
- Provide specialized care for diseases and surgery of the posterior segment.
- Collaborate with other services to manage multidisciplinary cases.
- Participate in clinical trials and implementation of protocols.
- Engage in academic activities including teaching medical students, residents and fellows and fostering basic science and clinical research.

- The Department plans to launch an ophthalmology residency program in 2028, followed by a vitreoretinal fellowship

Qualifications
- MD degree with completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency.
- Fellowship training in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology.
- Eligible for licensure in the state of Florida.
- Clinician scientists are encouraged to apply.
