    • Remote worker: 100% On-Site
    • Compensation Detail: $37.33 - $54.90 / hour Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
    • Schedule Details: Primarily day shifts with potential for evening shifts. The orientation for this position requires two weeks of full-time, 8-hour day shifts: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
    • Weekend Schedule: As needed.

    As a speech pathologist at Charter House, your primary responsibilities will include:

    • Evaluating and treating residents in the Short-Term Rehabilitation Center with communication disorders and/or impairments including dysphagia
    • Participating as a member of an interdisciplinary team
    • Establishing augmentative/alternative communication systems for patients

    *This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship; Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program. 

    Qualifications

    To be considered for this position, you must have a MS or MA degree in speech-language pathology.

    License/Certification

    • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is required.
    • Current State of Minnesota Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology license is required.

    Additional Qualifications

    • Experience evaluating and treating adults with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing impairments.
    • Experience working within senior housing is preferred.

    • Evaluation must be completed by an organization listed as a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) (www.naces.org) or the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE) (www.aice-eval.org).
