Job Responsibilities
- Assists with production line operations, including packing, assembling, and material handling.
- Performs basic machine operation tasks and uses a variety of hand tools to complete tasks.
- Loads and unloads materials and products.
- Maintains cleanliness of the production area by sweeping, organizing tools, and disposing of waste.
- Follows all safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assists with shipping and receiving, including checking in materials and packaging products for delivery.
- Inspects materials for defects and reports any issues to supervisors or quality assurance.
- Collaborates with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Participates in basic maintenance of equipment and tools as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing or similar environments preferred.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
- Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
- Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
- Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
- May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
