Production Worker/Driver

Position Summary

This is a combination role requiring the employee to make deliveries using the company delivery truck, as well as work in the shop shipping receiving and as a production worker. Responsibilities include performing warehouse shipping and receiving duties, operating forklifts & fabricating wire rope & chain assemblies.

· No experience required in manufacturing any products/ training will be given

Driver Responsibilities:

· Valid driver's license with clean driving record

· Deliver products to customers and pick up materials from customer facilities, returning them to the shop

· Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

· Pack, load, and unload trucks per company specifications

Production / Shipping & Receiving:

· Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and stock inventory

· Prepare and stage outgoing shipments for delivery

· Attach proper tags, labels, and capacity tables to finished products

· Maintain quality standards and report defective materials or products

· Operate forklift load/unload trucks and move materials throughout the warehouse

· Keep work area, tools, and equipment clean and organized; follow all safety guidelines

· Review and interpret Fab Tickets, for rigging assemblies

· Calculate cut lengths, select fittings, and operate production machines and equipment

· Count, record, and report inventory as required

Qualifications:

· Valid driver's license with clean driving record

· Forklift experience a plus but not required

· Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

· Basic math and measurement skills

· Ability to read and interpret basic instructions

· Strong work ethic

· Ability to multitask

Physical Demands:

This position requires standing, driving, lifting, bending and being capable of operating equipment and machinery safely
