Machine Operator (Day & Night Shift)

We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You will ensure that your machine is running constantly and efficiently.

A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Have a willingness to learn, improve and be receptive to feedback. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.

The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to achieve the company’s ideals and goals.

Responsibilities:
· Capable of leading a small team of individuals to achieve production goals and produce products of the highest quality standards
· Operate, load, setup and maintain all manufacturing equipment efficiently
· Successfully read and understand production orders, quality checks and down time logs. Be capable of logging and reporting production issues.
· Expedite repairs to the production line, work on the machine in the event of mechanical failure and maintain a great working relationship with the maintenance department.

Qualifications:

· Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
· Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
· Able to work at a fast pace
· Able to stand on feet for 12-hours
· Able to routinely lift 70 pounds, assisted
· Able to band and move boxes
· Able to operate a scale, read weights and understand weight variations
· Able to record weights to supporting paperwork
· Excellent communication skills
· Must be flexible to work extended hours to support the requirements of the business.
· High school diploma or equivalent
