Store Manager

Job Summary: The Store Manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees. The Store Manager is responsible for all controllable expenses including labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Recruiting, hiring and training of positive individuals

• Promote and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner

• Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly and displayed in a safe manner

• Monitor daily, including weekends, retail fuel competitors and adjusting prices accordingly

• Schedule and oversee quarterly physical inventory

• Communicate any problems with merchandise pricing to the C-Store coordinator

• Implement and enforce all merchandising and vendor policies and procedures

• Enforce all safety and security issues and report any and all unsafe conditions

• Plans and prepare work schedule

• Daily reports

• Must be willing and able to perform the work of CSR as needed

• Responsible for daily bank deposits

• Communicate all payroll and new hire information at time of hire or termination

• Review and evaluate employees on a regular schedule according to policy manual guidelines

Education and/or Experience: Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience.

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, twist and move freely in the performance of the job. Ability to work in a cooler at temperature of 34 degrees up to 30 min at a time.
