In this role, you’ll help prepare and display bakery products, assist customers with special orders, and keep our bakery department fresh, clean, and inviting.

Position Overview:

As a Bakery Clerk, you’ll support the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring quality, freshness, and outstanding service. From stocking cookies and slicing bread to packaging cupcakes and helping customers choose the perfect cake, you’ll play an important role in creating an enjoyable shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service by greeting, assisting, and responding to bakery-related inquiries Package, label, and stock fresh bakery items such as breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies Rotate and face bakery merchandise to ensure freshness and eye appeal Assist with slicing, bagging, and displaying bread and other baked goods Take custom cake and bakery orders and communicate them clearly to decorators and bakers Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, following all health and safety regulations Follow store and department policies for quality control and product presentation Support bakery team with setup, cleanup, and stocking as needed
