Position Overview:

As a Kitchen Cook, you will be responsible for preparing hot, ready-to-eat food items that meet McKeever’s quality and safety standards. You’ll work closely with the deli and kitchen team to keep fresh meals available for customers while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare hot and cold food items including entrees, sides, and daily specials Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency and quality Maintain proper food temperatures and adhere to food safety protocols Keep prep and cooking areas clean, stocked, and organized Package and label food for self-service displays or special orders Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties in the kitchen Rotate inventory and monitor expiration dates to minimize waste Communicate with deli/kitchen team to meet production needs and service goals
