Service Cashier

Summary:

Receives callers at the cashier’s office, determines the nature of their business and directs callers to their destination. Answers basic inquiries, routes incoming calls, takes messages and provides basic information to all callers.

Essential Duties:

*Greets walk-in customers and determines the nature of their visit.

*Answers multi-line incoming phone calls. Directs caller to appropriate department or individual or takes a thorough message.

*Communicates with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly and efficient manner.

*Enter data into computer as required.

*Collects payments from customers.

*Make deposits in appropriate banks and/or accounts.

*Monitors and keeps sufficient check and paper supply in the office.

*Organizes and maintains mailing system.

*Communicates messages to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.

*Assists with clerical duties as requested.

Marginal Duties:

*Cross-trains others for this position as directed by management.

*Assists with related special projects as required.

*Maintains a professional appearance and neat work area.

*Other duties may be assigned.
