McLeod Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Inpatient/Acute Adult Rehabilitation team. In this role, you will help patients regain mobility, improve function, reduce pain, and achieve their highest level of independence through evidence-based physical therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations utilizing patient history, observation, and objective assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, learning styles, and therapeutic needs.
• Provide treatment for a variety of orthopedic, neurological, cardiovascular, and functional impairments.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve measurable outcomes.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, treatment records, and discharge summaries in accordance with departmental guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) while supporting achievement of patient goals.
• Participate in departmental initiatives, performance improvement activities, continuing education, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Active South Carolina Physical Therapy License required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient-centered care skills.
