Clow Valve - MS Maintenance Mechanic A

Clow Valve's Machine Shop has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Mechanic A.

1st Shift: 5am-3pm Monday - Thursday

Starting Wage: $ 30.30; Qualified Wage: $32.30

Health Insurance available after 60 days.

$1500 sign on bonus after 120 day probationary period

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A MAINTENANCE A INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Repairing, maintaining, installing, lubricating, troubleshooting and adjusting machines and equipment.
• Performing routine inspection  equipment.
• Perform routine lubrication and cleaning
• Perform minor repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and machines.
• Use of common hardware including: bolts, pipe fittings, etc.
• Preventative maintenance of  equipment and machinery.
• Operate fork trucks, lifts, and conveyors.
• Welding and minor fabrications.
• CNC experience preferred

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Must pass aptitude test
• Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching & twisting up to 90 times per hour.
• Standing & walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to move neck forward/back & turn right/left, kneel, squat, & climb using arms and legs. Repetitive use of both hands & fingers to grasp, flex, extend, exert force, wear gloves, & utilize tools.
• Frequent work in extreme temperature conditions inside & outside including but not limited to working on slippery, uneven, unstable surfaces.
• Ability to work around machinery
• Applicant must have 2-4 years verifiable maintenance mechanic experience, preferably in an industrial/ manufacturing setting.
• Tech degree is a strong plus.
• Ability to wear applicable PPE including: safety glasses, metatarsal guarded boots, hearing protection, respirators, welding mask, etc.
• Ability to recognize and utilize all basic and portable power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
