Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world-class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, has an immediate opening for individuals who desire to join a growing organization and have an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work. MD&A – The IGT Division is seeking both entry-level and more experienced machinists (Blenders) who can specialize in bucket/blader precision turbine machining.
In this position, you must be able to work in a non-climate environment and have excellent attention to detail. Bucket / Blader Specialized Machinists perform setups and adjustments, and operate shop and portable machine tools to repair the turbine's rotating steam path and internal gas and fuel components. Performs structural material removal and polishing of damaged or compromised areas to restore component integrity.
All candidates must be well-versed in all industry housekeeping, safety, and good manufacturing practices (GMP) initiatives. More experienced candidates may be considered to lead and direct others' work.
