Relationship Officer (Gozo)

Role Overview:

The Relationship Officer, reporting to the Lead Wealth Manager, serves as a key point of contact for customers, supporting daily branch operations while delivering an excellent customer experience. The role also contributes to business growth by identifying opportunities and working closely with colleagues to maintain high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for existing customers and prospects visiting the Gozo branch.

• Assist and respond to customer queries related to e-banking and retail services.

• Generate leads and actively contribute to new business development.

• Promote and cross-sell the bank’s products and services in line with customer needs.

• Work closely with team members to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Perform administrative and operational duties as required by the role.

• Stay up to date with financial news, industry best practices, and relevant legislation to effectively support customers.

• Carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Head of Personal Banking.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A diploma or degree qualification in Banking & Finance would be an asset.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English.

• Candidates with knowledge of the investment market will be given preference and or are willing to undertake a Diploma in Financial Advice (DipFA).

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Be able to work under pressure and prioritise.
