    About Us:

The people of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) are united by a singular mission: ending cancer for life. Our specialized care teams provide personalized, compassionate, expert care to patients of all ages. Informed by basic research done at our Sloan Kettering Institute, scientists across MSK collaborate to conduct innovative translational and clinical research that is driving a revolution in our understanding of cancer as a disease and improving the ability to prevent, diagnose, and treat it. MSK is dedicated to training the next generation of scientists and clinicians, who go on to pursue our mission at MSK and around the globe.

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are seeking a highly collaborative, and proactive Scientific Senior Project Coordinator to support a dynamic, fast-paced scientific environment with multiple active projects and partners. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring seamless coordination, clear communication, and successful execution across initiatives.

    • Serve as a central point of communication across collaborators, aligning teams, resolving issues, and maintaining momentum across initiatives
    • Translate complex discussions into concise insights, summaries, and next steps to keep all partners informed and accountable
    • Coordinate billing workflows by gathering project details, clarifying needs with PIs, collaborating with internal teams and external partners/vendors, and ensuring accurate documentation and follow-through
    • Act as a partner to project leadership by identifying risks, anticipating changes, and recommending solutions to improve workflow, efficiency, and project outcomes
    • Support tracking and analysis of project-related data; develop reports, presentations, and summaries as needed

    Key Qualifications:

    • Scientific background (e.g., research experience, or significant exposure to scientific environments)
    • Ability to understand scientific terminology and contribute meaningfully to project discussions
    • Proven ability to ask thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions, and operate as a partner

    Core Skills:

    • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
    • Scientific Literacy & Thought Partnership
    • End-to-End Project Coordination & Billing Management

    Additional Information:

    • Schedule: Onsite, 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday
    • Location: 1250 First Avenue, NYC (Schwartz)
    • Reporting to: Director, Biotherapeutics Core Facility
