What You'll Do

As an Assistant Miller, you'll play a key role in supporting flour mill operations, ensuring product quality, maintaining food safety standards, and helping deliver products that meet customer expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with daily flour mill operations, flour transfers, and mill changes
• Performing quality analysis, product sampling, and food safety checks
• Supporting equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and routine repairs
• Monitoring wheat cleaning and tempering processes and making adjustments as directed
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and audit-ready work environment
• Following all food safety, GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and sanitation requirements
• Assisting with training Mill Utility personnel
• Serving as backup for the Head Miller or Shift Miller when needed

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 to 3 years of flour milling, food production, manufacturing, or related experience preferred
• Ability to pass a Respirator Fit Test and perform job duties while wearing a respirator
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Mechanical aptitude and a commitment to safety and quality
