As an SBA Credit Intern, you will…
- Play a vital role in assessing risk of a portfolio of Small Business Administration (SBA) loans. You will spread and analyze borrower financial statements and make recommendations to management regarding additional due diligence required for higher risk credits.
- Using cutting edge AI spreading tools, you will learn how financial statements are spread to make decisions on the specific risk grades associated with borrower relationships. You will have an opportunity to learn about collateral perfection, and the activities a bank must perform to ensure the integrity of assets that serve as collateral for our loans.
- The goal is that you will take what you have learned in your course work, apply it to your projects and then implement those solutions or recommendations.
- Have both a manager and mentor to help guide your through our program and your day-to-day work.
- Be given the opportunity to deliver a final presentation of your project/s results and make business recommendations to your department, team members and Company leadership.
