International Finance supports Prosper Global's operations in award financial management, financial reporting, and compliance with internal policies and procedures. Strong International Finance support is key to the success and delivery of quality programs. The VP of International Finance, in close collaboration with the Deputy Regional Director, Operations, country leadership, the Regional Controller, and the country operations management team, focuses on developing and supporting a high standard of financial management to maximize Prosper Global emergency responses in a compliant and efficient way.
The Regional Finance Director serves as a member of the International Finance team and the Africa regional office, supporting the financial management function for the regional portfolio and overseeing the financial management of initiatives led by the Africa regional team. The Director plays a key role in advancing strategies and initiatives within the region, ensuring alignment with Prosper Global’s internal policies, procedures, and donor regulations. Reporting to the VP of International Finance and the Deputy Regional Director (DRD), Operations, this position collaborates closely with the Regional Controller to optimize the use of financial resources across programs and departments, fostering efficiency and effectiveness.

This role oversees the regional International Finance team, including analyst- and manager-level roles.
Reports Directly To: VP International Finance and the DRD, Operations, Africa
Works Directly/Closely With: Finance Managers/Directors of regional country programs, Regional Controller, International Finance, corporate finance, global treasury, Cost & Pricing, and the Africa regional leadership.
Prosper Global team members are expected to support all efforts toward accountability, specifically to our program participants, community partners, other stakeholders, and to international standards guiding international relief and development work. We are committed to actively engaging communities as equal partners in the design, monitoring, and evaluation of our field projects.
The successful candidate will be able to interact effectively across international and national program and finance teams, both in a managerial and training capacity. They will support regional and International Finance objectives with timely and meaningful financial information and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and process information effectively. An impeccable professional standard of finance and procurement ethics, along with the willingness and ability to enforce compliance with Prosper Global and donor policies and procedures, is essential. The most successful Prosper Global staff members have a strong commitment to teamwork and accountability, thrive in evolving and changing environments, and prioritize effective written and verbal communication in all situations.
The regional finance director is expected to travel to countries in the region.
Prosper Global team members represent the agency both during and outside work hours when deployed in a field posting or on a visit/TDY to a field posting. Team members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and respect local laws, customs and MC's policies, procedures, and values at all times and in all in-country venues.
