Job description

Build up and manage relationships with clients and market participants — industrials, resellers, renewable producers, utilities and generation facilities — shaping your own client portfolio.
Identify client needs and develop solutions across our product range, from standard contracts to complex structured transactions with embedded optionality, in close cooperation with MET International (trading desk) and the local Portfolio & Operations team
Take ownership of generating new revenues by actively hunting for and converting new business opportunities, expanding the client portfolio and consistently delivering against commercial and revenue targets.
Play a pivotal role in shaping the sales approach and strategies for client accounts in an agile go-to-market approach (“design – try – scale or drop”)
Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that support both client and company goals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Provide regular reports on sales activities, client feedback, and market insights to management.
Represent the company at client meetings, industry conferences, and various events to promote its products, services, and brand image.

At least 3 years of commercial experience working in the German power and/or natural gas industry
Deep understanding of the energy market, including regulatory, economic, and competitive landscapes
BSc/MSc degree in Business/Finance/Economics/Engineering/IT or similar
Digital affinity to enhance sales process efficiency and client engagement
Demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships and deliver innovative solutions to clients
An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for creating and shaping new opportunities in an agile environment
Native-level fluency in German and fluency in English required
