Universal Discovery (UD)/Universal Configuration Database (UCMDB)

UD/UCMDB Implementation

• One (1) Primary Site for env 1 and one (1) Primary Site for env 2

o Install, configure and test a 2-node UCDMB Application Server connected to a highly available clustered database at one (1) Primary Site (Active)

o Install and configure two (2) Data Flow Probes at one (1) primary

o Finalized server, ports, OS, storage and database requirements will be defined in the Architectural Design

• Install one (1) Configuration Management Server at primary

• Two (2) Remote Sites (each site includes installation on env 1 & env 2)

o Install, configure and test two (2) Data Flow Probes at each site

UD/UCMDB Configuration

• Configure CMS global ID

• Configure probes to provide Foundation discovery

o Deploy up to five (5) UCMDB standard packages (i.e. SQL Server, Host Resources)

Discover up to five hundred (500) supported devices

• Distinct network segment IP ranges to be provided by Prime Contractor/End User Customer

• Distinct server IP ranges to be provided by Prime Contractor/End User Customer

• Create one (1) view

• Create up to five (5) user roles

• Create up to ten (10) CIs unassigned or assigned to existing relationships

• Deploy and Configure up to five (5) Application or Business Service Mappings

o Map five (5) application mappings through RTSM and push to APM/OMi

• Configure up to five (5) Asset Inventory Reports

• Create one (1) custom configuration management policy

• Integrations

o Integrate UCMDB with RTSM database for BSM/OMi

o Integrate UCMDB with NNMi

o Integrate UCMDB with CSA/OO

o Integrate UCMDB with Data Flow Probes

Role: HP UD/UCMDM Consultants (2 positions with Secret clearance)

Job Status: Contract

Start Date:  11/2/15 (Tier III 744 hrs or 18.6 weeks) Tier IV (440 hrs or 11 weeks)
