    What we offer:

    Job Functions: The Floater provides essential support to Early Childhood Teachers by assisting with classroom activities, maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment, and meeting the daily needs of children. Essential

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the supervision of school-age children during the assigned shift and provide support as a floater across all classrooms.
    • Assist Early Childhood Teachers in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum using best practices and the highest standards of care.
    • Ensure all classroom activities align with CREATE’s policies and the mission, vision, and guiding values of Metropolitan Ministries, prioritizing the safety and well-being of children and families.
    • Ensure the safety, security, and cleanliness of all CREATE classrooms and playground equipment.
    • Complete monthly safety and maintenance checklists and submit them at the end of each month.
    • Adhere strictly to all state childcare licensing guidelines and NECPA accreditation standards.
    • Participate in on-going training as required by childcare state licensing and accreditation Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to meet program needs.
