• Job Functions: This position is responsible for the daily operation and management of the dish room area.

Responsibilities:

• Operates dish room, assuring all items used to prepare food or eat food are cleaned according to Health Department standards.
• Receives all delivery items.
• Distributes delivery items to appropriate storage location including the food warehouse or kitchen storage area.
• Manages dish room volunteers.
• Maintains cleanliness in the food service area, per Department of Health standards.
• Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Cross trains and functions in all aspects of food services including food preparation, cleaning, utility duties, serving meals, preparing partner site meals when needed.
• Meets personal goals and actively contributes to the achievement of the team and organizational goals as stated on the KPI and in the annual plan.
• Supports the team in other tasks as assigned.
• Supports the Holiday Center, Bridge Builders Luncheon, and other fundraising events as directed.
