Warehouse Specialist

Meyer Laboratory is a rapidly growing nationwide chemical manufacturer.  We are looking for a motivated individual with prior warehouse and order picking experience to join our team. This is a full-time role based out of our Blue Springs, MO warehouse with excellent opportunity for advancement.

Compensation

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

· Picking orders

· Palletizing product to be shipped out

· Shrink wrapping pallets

· Supporting warehouse functions such as stocking, counting inventory etc

· Routine maintenance and clean-up

· Miscellaneous duties as assigned to support overall operational efficiency of Meyer Laboratory

· Observing all company, local, state, and federal safety and quality regulations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Minimum of 1-year related work experience

· Pallet jack experience strongly preferred

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to self-motivate and work independently

· Strong sense of urgency and initiative

· Detail-oriented

· Ability to prioritize, schedule, and meet deadlines

· Excellent attendance record and timeliness, required

· Prior forklift experience or certifications a plus

· Must be flexible with day-to-day job duties

· Willingness to comply with safety and quality regulations, including wearing protective gear when necessary.

· Meeting physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear.
