- Conducts regular security operations, including patrols, searches for contraband, and inspections of cells and common areas.
- Responds to inmate conflicts and utilizes de-escalation techniques to resolve disputes peacefully and prevent escalation.
- Applies conflict resolution strategies to mediate disagreements and foster a stable environment.
- Acts swiftly and decisively during emergency response situations, including disturbances, medical emergencies, or facility breaches.
- Provides immediate crisis intervention for inmates experiencing emotional or psychological distress.
- Prepares clear, concise, and accurate report writing on incidents, observations, and daily activities.
- Ensures strict policy adherence to all institutional guidelines, state, and federal laws.
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in observing inmate behavior, facility conditions, and potential security risks.
Required Qualifications
