We are looking for a Healthcare Consultant at Milliman India.
Roles & Responsibilities
Strategy & Transformation
- Support client projects across healthcare strategy, transformation, and analytics
- Contribute to assessments, benchmarking, problem solving, and opportunity identification
- Help develop business cases, operating models, roadmaps, and implementation plans
- Support initiatives across operations, technology, and governance in healthcare settings
Value-Based Care & Payment Models
- Support the design of healthcare financing and value-based care models
- Analyze trade-offs across cost, quality, access, and stakeholder incentives
- Contribute to frameworks for provider performance, reimbursement, and population health management
Analytics & Insights
- Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches
- Work with healthcare data to identify trends, cost drivers, and improvement opportunities
- Turn analysis into clear recommendations and client-ready materials
Operations & Improvement
- Support reviews of clinical and administrative workflows
- Identify improvement opportunities in cost, utilization, efficiency, and quality
- Contribute to process improvement and change initiatives
Client Collaboration
- Work with client stakeholders and internal teams across the project lifecycle
- Participate in workshops, interviews, and solution design discussions
- Present findings in a clear and thoughtful way
Team Contribution
- Contribute to proposals and internal initiatives when needed
- Build knowledge in areas such as value-based care, digital health, and healthcare financing
- Share knowledge and support team development.
Education
- MBBS / BDS / B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Nursing / Allied Health
- Or MPH / MBA (Healthcare) / Health Economics or related discipline
Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in healthcare consulting, strategy, analytics, payer-provider settings, or a related healthcare domain
- Experience in one or more of the following would be valuable:
- Healthcare financing or reimbursement models
- Value-based care or population health
- Exposure to international healthcare systems, especially the US or GCC, is a plus
