Client Engineer I (MedInsight)

Position Summary:

MedInsight is seeking a Client Engineer I to support implementations and deliver ongoing high-quality technical support and solutioning for our clients. This role is ideal for someone who is early in their healthcare analytics career and wants to grow into a technical expert or a client-facing consultant—learning how to derive value out of healthcare related data, develop and maintain repeatable code, and provide clear recommendations.

Client Engineers at MedInsight work in an AI-assisted delivery environment to increase speed and quality while maintaining strong engineering discipline (testing, review, documentation, and data governance).  Being a clear and concise communicator is equally important as being an excellent coder and analyst.

What you’ll do:

• Support technical components of client implementations (data ingestion, validation, and configuration).
• Contribute to and maintain our client code base using SQL and python.
• Evaluate data quality, document findings, and report on the impact.
• Assist in building and maintaining dimensional models to support analytics use cases.
• Learn and follow MedInsight standards for testing and release practices.
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to accelerate delivery (e.g., draft SQL, generate test cases, summarize findings), while ensuring outputs are verified and compliant.
• Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders; contribute to client-facing documentation and status updates.

As a Client Engineer I, you should have:

• 0–2+ years’ experience as a healthcare analyst, data engineer, or similar role
• Strong SQL fundamentals
• Familiarity with dimensional modeling concepts
• Experience (academic or professional) with source control (Git) and collaborative development
• Interest in healthcare data
• Consulting mindset: curiosity, structured problem solving, and a commitment to clear communication

Location: 

This role can be located in Seattle, Washington or Milwaukee, Wisconsin and will follow a hybrid schedule, requiring at least 2 days in office per week.

Compensation:
For residents residing in Washington state the salary range for this role is $80,168 - $109,020. A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.

For residents residing in Wisconsin state the salary range for this role is $59,200 - $94,800. A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
