We are looking for a motivated and energetic Part-Time Seasonal Keyholder who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. We are seeking someone who can deliver exceptional customer experiences, support the store team, achieve sales goals, and help maintain a visually compelling and well-organized store.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer questions, build customer confidence, and recommend products based on their needs while providing exceptional customer service.
- Operate the POS system, accurately process payments, and issue receipts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store.
- Restock merchandise and help maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Develop strong knowledge of the store's product lines and assist customers with product-related questions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers and provide recommendations on product selection, usage, care, and maintenance.
- Consistently work toward meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor while assisting customers efficiently.
- Conduct opening and closing procedures, including ensuring cash registers are balanced and secured and required security procedures are followed.
- Act as a positive role model for customer service and attitude among other Sales Associates.
- Support other store duties and operational requirements as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, or retail required.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, manage competing deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to take ownership and delegate tasks when appropriate.
- Passion for or knowledge of pop culture and board games is preferred.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
