This is a permanent, part-time-time position anticipated to work approximately 20 hours per week, with a rotating schedule between the hours of 5:00 am and 6:30 pm with varied days of the week, including weekends and holidays.
To serve prepared foods to residents, personnel and guests of the Minnesota Veterans Home – Hastings. To prepare salads, nourishments, and carry out lunches; to set-up for special functions; to maintain a clean, safe, sanitary work environment.

The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) is a cabinet level state agency dedicated to serving Veterans and their families by assisting them in securing state and federal benefits. MDVA has two major divisions each headed by a Deputy Commissioner who reports to the MDVA Commissioner. The Veteran’s Healthcare Division operates five (5) Veterans Homes located throughout the State and is responsible to provide quality care services for Veterans and qualified spouses.
