This position is anticipated to work 40 hours per week, rotating shifts, every other weekend, and some holidays.
Deliver licensed practical nursing (LPN) care within the LPN scope of practice, as defined by the Minnesota
Nurse Practice Act, for cognitively and physically disabled residents, chemical dependency, mental illness, and co-occurring disorders. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to promote the well-being, health, and safety of residents in a person centered, room and care environment.

The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) is a cabinet level state agency dedicated to serving Veterans and their families by assisting them in securing state and federal benefits. MDVA has two major divisions each headed by a Deputy Commissioner who reports to the MDVA Commissioner. The Veteran’s Healthcare Division operates five (5) Veterans Homes located throughout the State and is responsible to provide quality care services for Veterans and qualified spouses.
