Responsibilities:
.
- Coordinate with various multi-site technology teams that provide software inputs to the mobile platform software .
- Engage in Build and Release activities of mobile platform software .
- Configuration management, branching and merging source code .
- Adherence to internal processes and procedures .
- First level triage of issues pertaining to GPS domain .
- Minimal amount of hands on testing
Skills/Experience: .
- 1 - 3 years of industry experience in multi-site software development .
- Knowledge and exposure to telecom/GPS domain is a must .
- Configuration management experience in Perforce/Clearcase etc is a must .
- Software build experience using GNU Make/Scons is a must .
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux environments is a must .
- Good knowledge of C language is a must. .
- Prior experience in C and embedded programming a big plus .
- Perl, Python and Shell scripting is a big plus .
- Knowledge of bug tracking tools and techniques is a plus
