As a Developmental Training Instructor, You Will:

Develop lesson plans, goals, and objectives
Create and maintain relationships with community partners
Interact with community members and volunteers with ease and confidence
Ensure the rights of the residents are upheld
Meet Misericordia's high environmental, safety, personal care, and active treatment standards
Organize, manage resources, meet deadlines, and work independently
Meet DT essential functions

Training and Professional Development

Misericordia is committed to helping employees continue to learn and grow.

DTIs must be able to complete 4 weeks of training upon hire.

You will work with experienced professionals across Misericordia while gaining hands-on experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of one year of experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities
Valid driver's license and good driving record required; must be comfortable driving vehicles of all sizes
Ability to interact with community members and volunteers with ease and confidence
Ability to organize, manage resources, meet deadlines, and work independently
Ability to meet DT essential functions
Ability to demonstrate reliability, flexibility, adaptability, professionalism, and work independently/without supervision
Commitment to ensuring the rights of the residents
Availability to work Monday through Friday, full-time (8:00 am to 4:00 pm)

Base Pay

Developmental Training Instructor: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
