    • Strong communication skills and ability to make clear, confident clinical decisions
    • Collaborative team player who fosters strong relationships with colleagues, referring veterinarians, and clients
    • Compassionate approach to clients and their pets, with a dedication to an exceptional client experience
    • Professional composure and consistent, positive demeanor in a demanding specialty environment

With approximately 300 days of sunshine per year, the city delivers a vibrant four-season lifestyle with mild, dry winters and spectacular summer days. Outdoor recreation is world-class and accessible year-round:

    • Garden of the Gods — a stunning 1,300-acre National Natural Landmark featuring towering red-rock formations, free and open to the public year-round
    • Cheyenne Mountain State Park — 28 miles of hiking, mountain biking, and trail running trails within city limits
    • World-class skiing 90–120 minutes away: Breckenridge, Ski Cooper at Monarch, and Crested Butte are all within reach for a weekend trip
    • Cultural and recreational highlights: The Broadmoor (AAA Five Diamond resort), Cave of the Winds Mountain Park, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum, and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo — “America’s mountain zoo”

Colorado Springs’ median resident age of 35 reflects a young, active, engaged community. Whether you’re drawn by the mountains, the sunshine, or simply the room to build a rewarding life outside the clinic — Colorado Springs delivers an exceptional quality of life for professionals and families alike.

    Location & Connectivity

Colorado Springs sits at 6,035 feet elevation along the eastern base of the Rocky Mountains, approximately 70 miles south of Denver — roughly a 60-to-75-minute drive up I-25.
