    Retail Support Specialist - Auxiliary Driver / Store Support

    Location: Chatham-Kent/Lambton/Sarnia

    Compensation: $22/hr, plus 3% commission on mobile sales

    We are currently looking for a Retail Support Specialist - Auxiliary Driver / Store Support to join our team in southwestern Ontario. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys customer service, sales, and variety in their workday. You'll primarily support our retail stores while also assisting our mobile units as needed, helping ensure excellent service and operational continuity across multiple locations.

    What You'll Do

    Deliver Outstanding Customer Service

    • Provide exceptional service and create positive customer experiences.
    • Help customers find the right safety footwear, clothing, and accessories for their needs.
    • Share product knowledge and recommend complete solutions.
    • Address customer inquiries and resolve common issues professionally.

    Drive Sales Success

    • Support the achievement of store sales goals.
    • Follow established sales and service standards.
    • Promote products and value-added solutions.
    • Build product knowledge to confidently assist customers.

    Support Store & Mobile Operations

    • Maintain organized and visually appealing store and mobile environments.
    • Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
    • Assist with receiving, packing, shipping, and inventory-related tasks.
    • Support loss prevention, safety, and company policies.
    • Complete driving logs and transportation records when required.
    • Identify maintenance concerns and support daily operational needs.

    What We're Looking For

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Valid Canadian driver's licence with a clean driving record.
    • D licence is required for the role; candidates who do not currently hold a D licence may receive support in obtaining one.
    • Minimum one year of customer service, retail sales, route sales, driving, or related experience.
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Comfortable using technology, POS systems, and digital tools.
    • Ability to adapt to different stores, customer groups, and operational environments.
    • Reliable vehicle and ability to travel regularly between multiple locations.
    • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

    Physical & Working Requirements

    • Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs with assistance.
    • Comfortable standing, sitting, bending, and moving throughout the workday.
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
    • Comfortable working & driving in varying weather and road conditions.
    • Ability to maintain accurate records using systems such as Geotab.
