    Location: Hillsboro, OR (100% on-site)

    Experience: 5–10 years

    MMR Consulting is an engineering and consulting firm specializing in the pharmaceutical /biotechnology and highly regulated industries. Its services include Engineering, Project Management, and Validation.

    MMR Consulting has offices across North America and Asia.

    This is an outstanding opportunity to join our growing team, where the successful candidate will work with a group of engineers involved in the design, commissioning & qualification, start-up and project management of various processes, systems, and facilities.

    This position is based in Hillsboro, Oregon and requires working on-site in Hillsboro every day. Candidates must be local to the Portland / Hillsboro area; relocation assistance is not provided.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate onboarding for new hires and contractors, ensuring they are fully set up and ready to work on their first day.
    • Request, assign and track laptops and other IT equipment for new team members.
    • Assign required training in the learning management system and follow up to confirm completion.
    • Complete, submit and file onboarding forms and administrative paperwork accurately and on time.
    • Submit and track requests for access to software applications, systems and shared drives, and help users resolve basic access issues.
    • Serve as a point of contact for new team members and answer general administrative questions.
    • Maintain onboarding checklists, trackers and records.
    • Coordinate with IT, training, HR and management to keep onboarding on schedule.
    • Provide general administrative support as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5–10 years of experience in an administrative, office support or coordinator role.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree is an asset.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and comfort learning new software and systems.
    • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple requests at once.
    • Customer-service mindset and a proactive, helpful attitude.
    • Experience with onboarding, IT equipment requests or access provisioning is an asset.
    • Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech or other regulated manufacturing environment is an asset.
