We are seeking a reliable and experienced Skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in assembling racks and collection carts, using power tools, interpreting AutoCAD diagrams, and performing various installation and site preparation tasks. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Execute specialized tasks with precision and efficiency, such as accurate floor marking and the exact placement of final products, to contribute to the overall success of the project. The Skilled Laborer operates autonomously due to their expertise, while working under the direction of the Floor Leader.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assembly & Installation:
· Assemble racks, collection carts, and other equipment according to specifications.
· Install sticker-type signs and banners using ladders or scissor lifts.
· Apply adhesive tape on floors following specific diagrams and layouts.
Tool & Equipment Use:
· Operate power tools safely and efficiently.
· Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks or storage areas.
Site Preparation & Maintenance:
· Clean and maintain job sites before, during, and after project completion.
· Ensure all tools and materials are organized and stored properly.
Technical Skills:
· Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings and diagrams.
· Follow detailed instructions and layouts for installations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Qualifications:
· OSHA certification or other safety training.
· Experience in warehouse or industrial environments.
· Forklift certification is a plus.
