Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform functions as required relating to building maintenance.
- Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical tasks to maintain buildings.
- Perform routine commercial HVAC preventive maintenance as required.
- Perform roof maintenance. Inspect condition of roofs. Clean roof gutters and drains.
- Move and relocate office furniture and equipment, adjust desks, chairs and files as needed.
- Inspect and maintain facilities, buildings and grounds. Perform routine maintenance and light grounds keeping.
- Document inspections, logs, and work orders manually and on a computer.
- Run errands as needed.
- Supports supervisors with leading and directing others and improving the efficiency and productivity on the Building Maintenance Department.
- Semiconductor Manufacturing Lead experience preferred
- Perform related duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of general building construction and maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical work.
- Basic knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
- Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools and equipment in a safe and effective manner.
- Ability to recognize occupational hazards and follow standard safety practices.
- Basic knowledge of English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Working knowledge of basic shop math.
- Read and interpret building and mechanical blueprints and plans.
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- General computer skills (MS Windows, E-mail, MS Word, MS Excel, Google)
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of increasingly responsible general facilities maintenance experience or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Sufficient ability to perform light to moderate (30 lbs) lifting and carrying.
- Walking and standing for prolonged periods.
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, and crawling.
- Working on ladders, lifts and working at heights.
