- 5+ years of directly related experience in Tier II and Tier III support installing, configuring and supporting Microsoft-based systems, both virtual and physical
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related discipline. Years of experience may be used to substitute for education requirement
Strong Skills/Knowledge:
- Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2 administration
- Hands-on experience managing Windows Active Directory Services
- Demonstrated experience Dimitri with WSUS and preferred experience with automated patch management
- Demonstrated experience with Group Policy Management, to include creation of policies, troubleshooting and maintaining
- Experience with imaging Windows workstations
- Ability to provision systems in VMWare ESXI 6.0+
- Network services experience: DNS, DHCP
- Extensive knowledge of Server and PC hardware and software maintenance
Desirable Skills:
- Linux administration with Ubuntu server and CentOS
- Mac OS X administration, imaging
- Analyzing requirements for deployment of new desktop applications, creating deployment plans and automation processes for new applications
- Experience with Azure and AWS
