This position will need to focus on China Gum & Candy platform, including innovation, rennovation, quality improvement projects to deliver technical solutions to support business. The individual should be capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, applying technical expertise to solve problems, develop various products launch to market compliance with MDLZ quality and local country regulation requirement.

How you will contribute

This position is dedicated for the development of the Gum & Candy category for China BU.

1. On hands develop on the innovations to meet MDLZ requirement

2. Develop product process to fit line capacity and scale up from culinary prototypes to commercial lines.

3. Develop technical specifications.

4. Support platform managers to track MKT trends and creative ideas under category strategic plan.

5. Networking to leverage global capability as well as external industry good practice to explore advanced technical design and extend formats based on MDLZ requirements

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:

- Degree/Masters in Food Science & Engineering, Biology, Chemical Engineering related.

- More than 2 years of work experience in food industry required with track record of successful developments, experience with confectionary will be plus

- Strong technical expertise and problem solving;

- Good project management, communication skills and daily English preferred

Confectionary knowledge, product development (Priority for confectionary development)

- Knowledge on consumer science and analytical methodology.

- Communication and presentation skills.

- Organize pilot and commercial trials
