JOB PURPOSE
Based on the activities assigned by his/her superiors, the accountant records and checks the accounting entries in his/her area of responsibility, within the given deadlines.
He/she is responsible for justifying the balances of the accounts within his/her scope.

Job Description

SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES Accounting - Process and control accounting documents and letter accounts within its scope and justify account balances - Process, control and, if necessary, record cash receipts and disbursements within its perimeter - Participate in the closing of accounts within the set deadlines - Produce reconciliation statements - Participate in the control of accounting records - Draw up tax and social security declarations, where applicable - Produce, if necessary, indicators of the volume of its activity and transmit them to its hierarchy - Play an active role in the continuous improvement of your activity (business tools, etc.), procedures, etc.) - Be a privileged interlocutor with internal and external stakeholders in the context of its activities - Ensure the administrative management of its perimeter, if necessary RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE FOR ACTION - Ensure the quality of data entered into business tools - Guarantees the compliance and timeliness of accounting for its perimeter - Know, apply and enforce internal and external financial, tax and compliance procedures and rules - Be a key contact for internal and external stakeholders PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE DIPLOMA(S) AND/OR EXPERIENCE(S) Bac +2 level in accounting and/or significant experience preferred SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE(S) Technical skill(s) - Professional knowledge of finance (accounting, treasury, etc.) - Professional knowledge of taxation (VAT, etc.) - General knowledge of IT tools and information systems - Basic level of English (A2) Behavioral skill(s) - Good interpersonal skills - Thoroughness - Analytical skills - Synthesis skills - Adaptability - Responsiveness - Discretion - Sense of service
