TEST TECHNICIAN

JOB PURPOSE
On the basis of the activities assigned by his/her hierarchy, the test bench technician tests andchecks product conformity against specifications.

Job Description

SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES - Define measurement and test methods adapted to the product, prior to testing - Pre-check equipment (auxiliaries, instrumentation) and prepare equipment (parameter setting, alignment, pre-lubrication, etc.) - Carry out installation and testing, and conduct acceptance tests based on the test program defined by internal or external stakeholders (customers, sales teams, engineering teams, etc.) - Understand and use technical documentation (manuals, etc.) - Write reports (tests, recipes, etc.), based on the analyses carried out during the test - Perform first-level upkeep and maintenance on the test bench provided - Identify non-conformities, make technical adjustments and contribute to the management of non-conformities, in collaboration with line management - Participate in the continuous improvement of the business tool - Report daily on activities to line management (alerts, tasks carried out, etc.) RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE FOR ACTION - Ensure compliance, quality and deadlines for product testing - Ensure compliance of the workstation and tools provided - Know and apply internal and external compliance procedures and rules - Know and strictly apply health and safety rules (personal protective equipment, procedures, etc.) - Know and strictly apply environmental rules (sorting, anti-contamination, etc.). PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE DIPLOMA(S) AND/OR EXPERIENCE(S) 2 years' higher education in electrical, mechanical or electrical engineering and/or significant experience preferred SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE(S) Technical skill(s) - Knowledge professional in the field technical (mechanical, electrical electrical engineering, hydraulics, etc.) - Professional knowledge of products (range, functions, etc.) - General knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations - General knowledge of IT tools and information systems - Intermediate level of English (B1) Behavioral skill(s) - Analytical skills - Rigor - Reactivity - Interpersonal skills - Adaptability
