Part-Time Student Kitchen Worker (Fall)

Under the direct supervision of the Kitchen Student Supervisor or his assistant, to undergo a training program and assist in general operation of kitchen.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:

1. To learn operation of kitchen equipment in a safe, efficient manner and procedures for meal preparation.
2. To help in preparation, serving and clean-up of meals as assigned.
3. To assist in cleaning of kitchen and equipment.
4. To ensure the Kitchen and related areas are kept clean and sanitary according to the Chicago Health Department and Food Service standards.
5. To perform related and special duties as assigned.

Applicants must be a full-time, on campus, student at MBI or MTS.
