Part-Time Student Usher

Conference Marketing & Management (CMM) Ushers are a friendly, welcoming, helpful presence at various Moody Bible Institute events. They are hired for occasional work, including Commencement, Founder’s Week, Candlelight Carols, and other events as needed. Students who are hired are generally invited to work for available shifts for each event but are not necessarily required to work for all events.  This is an occasional, not weekly, position.

Duties vary per event, but may include:

• Being a friendly face and welcoming presence at Founder’s Week, Commencement, Candlelight Carols, and other events
• Assisting guests in finding seats; walking guests to their seats if needed
• Handing out event programs
• Answering questions and giving directions to guests
• Screening guests, checking tickets, distributing event and parking passes (if applicable)
• Collecting the offering (if applicable)

Applicants must be a full-time, on campus student at MBI or MTS.
