About the Role

As an Account Manager at Moodle, you'll be the main point of contact between Moodle and a portfolio of around 200 client accounts, primarily across India. You'll build strong relationships, keep customers happy, look after renewals, support onboarding and spot opportunities to help clients get even more value from Moodle.

Many of our India customers have ongoing customisation and development needs, so you'll be comfortable understanding technical requirements, explaining them clearly to our internal teams, and negotiating scopes of work and pricing with clients. You'll report to our Global Head of Sales & Account Management and work closely with teams across Moodle worldwide.

What You’ll Do

Most days in this role usually involve a mix of:

• Managing your portfolio of client accounts and keeping customer satisfaction high
• Building and executing account plans that support client success and growth
• Scoping and pricing customisation and development projects with clients and internal teams
• Supporting renewals and contract discussions, and identifying upsell opportunities with our Sales Executives
• Hosting client calls and QBRs, and keeping HubSpot records accurate and up to date
• Coordinating with Support, Onboarding, Development and Business Services to resolve issues and deliver great outcomes
• Reporting on account health, trends, risks and opportunities

We’d love to meet you

Especially if you can tell us about your:

• 5–7 years of experience across account management, customer success, sales and/or business development
• Knowledge of Moodle or other LMS platforms, including a baseline technical understanding
• Confidence gathering technical requirements and translating them for internal teams
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills
• Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills, with high emotional intelligence
• Organisation and multitasking skills, plus comfort working with data
• Bonus points for hands-on Moodle LMS experience or a degree in sales, business or a related field
