About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role within the UTA Finance team. You'll
be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting and operational activities of UTA and its associated entities, delivering critical reporting and insights that support investment performance, governance and strategic decision-making.
- Lead monthly unit pricing, fund accounting and management accounting activities.
- Prepare and review management, board and committee reporting.
- Oversee statutory financial reporting and external audit processes.
- Manage tax compliance requirements, including trust distributable income and company tax calculations.
- Support treasury, cash flow and liquidity management activities.
- Deliver investor reporting and fund performance reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, controls and reporting frameworks.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of accounting and reporting systems.
- Build strong relationships with auditors, tax advisors and key internal stakeholders.
- Provide financial expertise and support on transactions, strategic initiatives and business projects.
About You
We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional who combines strong technical capability with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
You will bring:
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualification with significant post-qualification experience, ideally within funds management, infrastructure or investment management.
- Deep expertise across financial reporting, technical accounting, taxation and regulatory compliance.
- Experience managing audits and partnering effectively with external advisors and professional service providers.
- A track record of driving process improvement and contributing to finance systems and transformation projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
