Job Summary

The Associate EDI Integration Solution Consultant is responsible for the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of EDI integrations and B2B transactions. This role manages EDI support tickets and inbox requests, monitors transaction queues and acknowledgments, and resolves data discrepancies and processing errors in coordination with application, integration, infrastructure, and business teams. It also configures and maintains trading partner profiles and mappings, supports onboarding of new trading partners, and maintains EDI documentation and standards. Success in this role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, technical fluency across EDI transaction processing, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced production support environment while building effective relationships with internal teams, trading partners, and third-party EDI providers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation and monitoring of EDI integrations and business transactions
• Manage and triage requests in our EDI Inbox
• Monitor EDI queues, alerts, acknowledgments, and transaction statuses to ensure successful processing
• Manage and prioritize EDI support tickets to ensure timely resolution and minimal business disruption within defined SLAs
• Provide technical support, user guidance, and training related to EDI processes and integrations
• Troubleshoot EDI transaction failures, data discrepancies, communication issues, and processing errors
• Analyze EDI data and transaction flows to identify the source of processing issues
• Coordinate issue resolution across application, integration, infrastructure, and business teams
• Assist with onboarding and testing changes for new and existing EDI trading partners
• Configure and maintain EDI trading partner profiles, mappings, and communication settings
• Work with internal business teams and external trading partners to gather and document EDI requirements ensuring that integrations follow our EDI standards
• Maintain documentation for trading partners, mappings, specifications, processes, and support procedures
• Build and manage relationships with trading partners, third-party EDI providers, and our internal teams across IT /business
• Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, implementation projects, and cross-functional initiatives
• Perform other duties assigned that support the overall success of the team, department, or organization. This may include participating in cross-functional initiatives, contributing to process improvements, or assisting with special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 2-4 years of experience supporting EDI, B2B integrations, application integrations, or a related technical environment
• Basic understanding of EDI concepts, transaction processing, trading partner integrations, and communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, FTP, REST, VAN
• Experience with ANSI X12 and transactions 850, 855, 856, 810, 875, 880, 940, 945, 944, 947, 943, 404, 997
• Experience troubleshooting technical or data-related issues
• Ability to read and analyze structured data files and EDI transactions
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working/testing with third party EDI platforms/providers such as Cleo, SPS Commerce, Ariba Network, Tungsten, GXS or other
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and business teams internally and externally
• Ability to manage and take ownership of multiple issues and priorities in a fast-moving production support environment independently and in a professional manner
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Infor, or other
• Basic knowledge of middleware and integration platforms, SAP PO is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with XML, JSON, CSV, APIs, or other integration formats
• Exposure to SAP ECC and integration with IDOCS
• Hands-on experience with EDI mapping tools such as SAP PO, Sterling, Boomi, or other
• Retail/Consumer Goods/Manufacturing Industry Experience

The base salary range of $76,000 - $106,000 is just one component of this position’s compensation package. Actual compensation varies depending on factors including knowledge, skills, and experience.​ In addition to the base salary, this position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
