Director of Student Conduct & Community Standards

    Job Description:

Reporting to the Vice President for Student Life, the Director of Student Conduct & Community Standards serves as the University's lead educator and administrator for student conduct and community standards. Through a student-centered and developmental approach, the Director promotes accountability, integrity, personal responsibility, and community well-being while advancing the mission and values of Mount St. Mary's University.
The Director provides leadership for the day-to-day operations of the Student Conduct Office and oversees a fair, educational, and inclusive conduct process grounded in student learning, restorative practices, and ethical decision making. Working collaboratively with Residence Life and Housing, Public Safety, Counseling Services, Athletics, Academic Affairs, and other campus partners, the Director identifies behavioral trends, develops proactive educational initiatives, and contributes to student retention, persistence, and success. Leveraging assessment, data-informed decision making, and collaborative partnerships, the Director helps foster a safe, inclusive, and thriving campus community while supporting the holistic growth and development of students.
