This is an exciting opportunity for professionals from Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Risk & Controls, Model Risk Management, Model Validation, or Model Development. You do not need previous model governance experience. If you understand risk, can evaluate control environments, and know how to challenge stakeholders constructively, you can build valuable specialist expertise in this role.

You will work closely with global colleagues across Finance, Risk Management, Technology, Internal Audit, and the business, gaining exposure to multiple risk disciplines and senior governance forums.

What you’ll do in the role:

• Oversee Finance models, critical tools, and EUCs throughout their governance lifecycle
• Review model inventories, documentation, certifications, exceptions, and governance evidence
• Assess risks and evaluate whether controls are appropriately designed and operating effectively
• Challenge governance processes and recommend practical improvements
• Support model onboarding, certification, recertification, exception management, and retirement
• Identify governance and control gaps, agree remediation actions, and track issues through resolution
• Monitor audit findings, policy exceptions, and regulatory commitments
• Analyse governance and controls data to identify trends, emerging risks, and process weaknesses
• Create clear metrics, dashboards, and management reporting for senior stakeholders and governance committees
• Partner with model developers, validators, Finance, Risk, Technology, and Internal Audit teams globally
• Help modernize and automate governance processes to improve transparency, accuracy, and efficiency

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Experience in Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Risk & Controls, Model Risk Management, Model Validation, Model Development, or another governance or assurance role
• A strong risk and control mindset, with the confidence to question existing processes and challenge constructively
• Experience assessing risks, reviewing controls, evaluating governance processes, or supporting remediation
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex information into clear conclusions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
• The ability to build trusted relationships with both technical and business stakeholders
• Sound judgement, strong attention to detail, and an understanding of broader business impact
• Ownership and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Excellent written and verbal English

• Model lifecycle governance or model-risk frameworks
• Control design, testing, assurance, or audit
• Model validation, quantitative review, or model development
• Issue management, remediation tracking, or policy exceptions
• Regulatory reviews or senior governance reporting
• Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, advanced Excel, or other data-visualization tools
• Reporting automation or dashboard development
