Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Prague. As a member of the APEX team, you will be responsible for developing various web applications with a focus on AI use-cases for our business within the pharmaceutical company. You will be working in a cross-functional agile team and contribute to architecture, prototyping, and development, and strive for successful delivery of quality solutions.
Responsibilities
Collaborate within a cross-functional agile team to develop applications
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using TypeScript and / or Python
Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and contribute ideas for improving the application's architecture, scalability, and performance
Stay updated with the latest software engineering patterns and principles to continuously improve the application
Work closely with product owners, UX designers and other functions to deliver high-quality software
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices
Proficiency in TypeScript (JS) or Python
Solid experience with React, HTML, and CSS for front-end development
Experience with AWS/Azure and Terraform
Experience with Docker (Kubernetes is a big plus)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment
Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with GitHub (GH Actions is a big plus)
Understanding of secure software development principles
Flexibility and willingness to learn new / different technology skills
Experience with and active usage of developer AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot / Claude Code / Cursor / Kiro / etc.)
Understanding and experience with Spec-driven Development is a plus
