Maintenance Manager

Main purpose of the job:

Manage and develop maintenance operations at mill in a safe way, according to MT strategy and rules, in cooperation with the local management to reach mill goals

Main duties and responsibilities:

• As a part of the mill management, responsible for production targets achievement.
• Support and drive continuous improvement throughout the mill.
• Contribute to the development of new technologies and production methods.
• Ensure that the maintenance improvement processes (MIP) are active at the mill and monitor/communicate the maintenance KPI´s.
• Ensure that Metsä Tissue maintenance handbook is followed.
• Identify and secure adequate maintenance competence in organization.
• Ensure clear roles and responsibilities within the maintenance.
• Ensure compliance of laws, regulations and contracts in own responsibility area.
• Ensure that maintenance budget targets are met.
• Participate or lead projects
• Lead and implement plans and actions which enable achieving set strategy.
• Responsible for the continuous improvements  of the processes, working methods, people,

materials and equipment

• Support colleagues in matters concerning authorities
• Responsible for energy certification ISO 500001
• Responsible to ensure safety and well-being at work for own team members

Working experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience of maintenance related supervisory duties
• Very good knowledge of field of maintenance

Language skills:

• Local language
• English, written and spoken

Education:

• Professional education in engineering or extensive experience in the field of maintenance
